Over the next two weeks <a title=\"Ron Lichty and Actuation Consulting President Greg Geracie\" href=\"http:\/\/ronlichty.blogspot.com\/\">Ron Lichty<\/a> and I will be canvasing three different venues where product managers and product team members gather to learn and share insights.<\/p>\n<p>It all begins tomorrow (October 2nd) as Ron leads off with a presentation at the <a title=\"The Study of Product Team Performance at SVPMA\" href=\"http:\/\/svpma.org\/\">Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA)<\/a>. He will be presenting some very insightful findings from this year&#8217;s <a title=\"The Study of Product Team Performance, Product Management, Actuation Consulting\" href=\"https:\/\/actuationconsulting.com\/the-study-of-product-team-performance\/\">Study of Product Team Performance<\/a>. Ron was one of the co-authors and has a lot to say on the study&#8217;s findings. He&#8217;s particularly animated about the current status of waterfall and what practitioners think about its impact on profitability! I want to thank our friends at SVPMA for helping with the study and assisting us in getting the word out.<\/p>\n<p>Ron and I then tag team at <a title=\"Greg Geracie and Ron Lichty at Silicon Valley Code Camp\" href=\"http:\/\/www.siliconvalley-codecamp.com\/Session\/2013\/emerging-trends-and-factors-impacting-product-teams\">Silicon Valley Code Camp<\/a>. This is the second year that I&#8217;m presenting &#8211; this year with Ron. I had the honor of presenting with Cindy F. Solomon last year. If you&#8217;re unfamiliar with Silicon Valley Code Camp it&#8217;s worth checking out. They put on a great event that gets bigger every year.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of Cindy F. Solomon, she is the organizer of <a title=\"The Study of Product Team Performance, 2013\" href=\"http:\/\/productcampsf.com\/\">ProductCamp San Francisco<\/a>. Cindy has provided Ron the opportunity to share more information about this year&#8217;s study at this year&#8217;s event.
